The Research Area covers all activities aiming at Developing, Optimising and Applying Descriptive and Functional Imaging Methods for examining model organisms and human body donors. It is involved in Developing Multi-Modal and Multi-Scale Imaging Pipelines spanning the range from basic to translational research and is linked with the Medical Imaging Cluster of the MedUni Wien and the Austrian Euro-BioImaging Initiative.
